Now let's forget about our troubles with a big cone of soft serve ice cream

I was working from home this afternoon, appropriately social distanced.

I hear the familiar tune of Greensleeves, which can only mean one thing:

Review: The Simpsons Carbonated Beverages

On a recent family trip up the coast, we stopped at a local shopping centre for some supplies, then discovered a shop selling nothing but imported candy, chocolates, soft drink and other junk food.

I felt like a kid in some kind of store.

While I was disappointed with the unavailability of Skittlebrau and Gummy Venus de Milo's, I did discover these...

So here is the review of Duff Beer and the Flaming Moe...

Now there are lots of lists of things to eat in Marrickville, or the wider area known as the Inner West, that can be easily found via your preferred search engine.

All The Hats I've Eaten

The 2016 SMH Good Food Guide was released a few weeks back.
When I tallied it up, I've been to twenty of the current hatted restaurants.

Places I've Eaten, Part One

I really enjoy food. I'm one of those people that talks about food texture and complimentary flavours and so on. I often pick places to do various things based on what is available to eat nearby. I can't leave anything on my plate even if full, because there are starving kids in Africa and also because of gluttony. I understand quinoa. I pretend to understand kale.

So I'm one of those people. A wanker foodie.

Once you have children you don't get out as much, but recently I've had a couple of interesting dining experiences that I thought I'd share. I probably have enough material for a dozen articles like this.
